The Ministry of Interior has announced that the restrictions on citizens leaving the Kingdom and returning to it are fully lifted, and permitting the opening of ports for all means of transport through the land, sea and air ports, after January 1, 2021, in accordance with the procedures followed before the Covid-19 pandemic.
The country said it will allow GGC citizens and Saudi residents with valid visas to leave and enter the Kingdom according to coronavirus and health procedures and State television reports.
The approval was issued on the complete lifting of restrictions on citizens leaving the Kingdom and returning to it, and allowing the opening of ports for all means of transport through the land, sea, and airports, after the date of January 1, 2021, according to the procedures followed before the Corona pandemic.
It stated that the suspension is partially raised for international flights to and from the Kingdom, and the opening of land, sea and airports, allowing the excluded groups of citizens and others to enter and leave the Kingdom.

It further said that plans to re-permit Umrah will be announced gradually, based on what will be decided independently later in this regard, in light of the developments related to the pandemic.
